Job Requirements:

  • Full-time, entry level position
  • Remote work (preferably located in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town)
  • 1-2 years Digital Marketing experience (SEO & Google Ads)

SEO Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research: Identify high-potential SEO keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
  • On-page SEO: optimise content, meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking.
  • Content Optimisation: Create and enhance SEO-friendly content.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct audits, ensure proper indexing, and monitor site speed.
  • Off-page SEO: Build and maintain backlinks, and engage in outreach.
  • Analytics: Monitor performance with Google Analytics and Search Console, and prepare reports.
  • SEO Tools: Use SEO tools for tracking, research, and audits.
  • Collaboration: Work with content creators, developers, and marketing teams.
  • Staying Updated: Keep up with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
  • Local SEO: Optimise Google My Business profiles and manage local citations (if applicable).

Google Ads Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Setup: Assist in creating and managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads and social media. Set up ad groups, keywords, and targeting.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research and analyse competitor strategies.
  • Ad Copy and Design: Write ad copy, collaborate on creatives, and perform A/B testing.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, monitor spend, and adjust bids.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, generate reports, and provide insights.
  • Optimisation: Continuously optimise campaigns and update ads based on data.
  • Landing Page Optimisation: Assist in creating and testing landing pages.
  • Audience Targeting: Manage audience targeting and retargeting strategies.
  • Research: Stay updated on trends and conduct competitor analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work with the marketing team and communicate performance.
  • Technical Setup: Assist with tracking code and conversion pixel setup.
  • Compliance: Ensure ads follow platform policies and best practices.
  • Learning: Continuously learn new tools and participate in training.
