Job Requirements:
- Full-time, entry level position
- Remote work (preferably located in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town)
- 1-2 years Digital Marketing experience (SEO & Google Ads)
SEO Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Identify high-potential SEO keywords using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- On-page SEO: optimise content, meta tags, headers, images, and internal linking.
- Content Optimisation: Create and enhance SEO-friendly content.
- Technical SEO: Conduct audits, ensure proper indexing, and monitor site speed.
- Off-page SEO: Build and maintain backlinks, and engage in outreach.
- Analytics: Monitor performance with Google Analytics and Search Console, and prepare reports.
- SEO Tools: Use SEO tools for tracking, research, and audits.
- Collaboration: Work with content creators, developers, and marketing teams.
- Staying Updated: Keep up with SEO trends and algorithm changes.
- Local SEO: Optimise Google My Business profiles and manage local citations (if applicable).
Google Ads Responsibilities:
- Campaign Setup: Assist in creating and managing PPC campaigns on Google Ads and social media. Set up ad groups, keywords, and targeting.
- Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research and analyse competitor strategies.
- Ad Copy and Design: Write ad copy, collaborate on creatives, and perform A/B testing.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets, monitor spend, and adjust bids.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, generate reports, and provide insights.
- Optimisation: Continuously optimise campaigns and update ads based on data.
- Landing Page Optimisation: Assist in creating and testing landing pages.
- Audience Targeting: Manage audience targeting and retargeting strategies.
- Research: Stay updated on trends and conduct competitor analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with the marketing team and communicate performance.
- Technical Setup: Assist with tracking code and conversion pixel setup.
- Compliance: Ensure ads follow platform policies and best practices.
- Learning: Continuously learn new tools and participate in training.
